Live music in Jozi’s most astonishing reimagined city space.

Les Javan works as a composer and songwriter for TV and Film. He has released six albums ranging from Afrikaans and English to instrumental in genres from classical, folk and jazz to experimental music. Apart from his work in the film and music industry, Les has also done extensive work in community development, one such project being the Solms Delta community music project of which he is a founder member - see www.solms_delta.co.za 

In 2011, Les was nominated for a SAMA award for his rural/traditional album ‘Hiervandaan’ exploring indigenous and modern rhythms and ideas. He has also held the no 1 position on national radio with his Afrikaans hit song ‘Met jou aan my sy’ which he composed for his wife Melissa.

While The Sheds@1Fox is taking bookings for Sunday live lunch music, the market remains open to the public free of charge for the duration of this event. Guests are welcome to visit our market for a great lunch and to find seating, free of charge in other parts of our sheds. The lunch booking is specifically in a reserved-seating area with a view of the performing musician.
