AFDA Graduation Ceremony: Johannesburg Class of 2018 Session 2

Dear Graduate 

Should you wish to attend your graduation ceremony, kindly scroll down to see steps on how to secure your seat as well as the seats for your guests attending with you.

You must be fully dressed and seated in the auditorium by 13:30pm for the start of the rehearsal. 

Kindly note:

• Each graduate is entitled to only one ticket for him/herself.


• Each graduate may also invite 2 guests along that receive complimentary tickets. 


• A very limited amount of tickets are available for purchase @ R100 should graduates like to have more than 2 guests attending the graduation ceremony. 


• Graduates may arrive at 11:00am for payment and taking of photos till 13:15am. The remaining photos will be done after Graduation Proceedings. For more information regarding photos CLICK HERE

Step 1:

Select your own ticket along with 1/2 guest tickets. 
Click on "Get Tickets"

Step 2:

Review your amount of tickets and click "Check Out".

Step 3: 

Fill in the name of graduate and also name of guests attending, then kindly complete the Alumni Questionnairre.

Please note that you can not receive your tickets without completing the questionnairre.

Step 4:

Fill in final page fields, click on "Accept Terms & Conditions" and "Complete Order"!

Gown Hire:

You are required to hire your gown and degree hood at the Linder Auditorium between 11:00am – 13:15 before the graduation ceremony commences, from an independent company called Dippenaar & Reinecke (Tel Number: 012 343 2945/7).   Please note that Dippenaar & Reinecke only accepts cash.

For every recipient of a degree the ceremony becomes a proud moment which is shared with relatives and friends as a reward for a long period of dedication and hard work.  Everybody therefore must attend their ceremony in the correct prescribed attire which is compulsory and obviously contributes to the stately atmosphere of such a function.

You are required to collect your gown and sash before your graduation ceremony on the   8th March 2019    Please note that Dippenaar & Reinecke only accepts cash (NO CREDIT CARDS AND CHEQUES ARE ACCEPTED).

All hired gowns and sashes are to be returned to Dippenaar & Reinecke IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE GRADUATION CEREMONY WHERE HIRING TOOK PLACE.  Outfits not returned after the ceremony will have to be posted to Dippenaar & Reinecke within five (5) days to avoid forfeiting your deposit.
