Bergman Centenary: Fanny and Alexander (1982)

The Embassy of Sweden in South Africa invites film lovers to celebrate the memory of Ingmar Bergman - counted among the world’s most influential directors. 

The iconic Swedish auteur, whose body of work for film, television and theatre spans over seven decades, would have turned 100 years this year, and what better way to pay tribute him than by showing some of his most famous and celebrated films.

Join us at The Bioscope Independent Cinema for a screening of Persona with pizza and wine on the 3rd of December, and of Fanny and Alexander on the 4th.
