Die Beste van Potchpourri

Die jaarlikse Potchpourri konsert is 'n gulde geleentheid vir Potchefstromers om die NWU Skool vir Musiek se personeel en studente se talente in `n konsert in ligter luim te kom geniet! Hierdie jaar is beslis geen uitsondering nie en sluit die hoogtepunte van Potchpourri-programme van die afgelope 20 jaar in! Daar gaan `n groot verskeidenheid van opwindende musiekitems wees. Bo en behalwe P.D.Q. Bach se komposisie vir een altviool en vier hande, Bandura Express Marimba Ensemble, en The Geographical Fugue wat 'n gesproke werk is, kan die gehoor ook uitsien na Me. Florence Foster Jenkins wat haar buiging in Potchefstroom kom maak.

Die NWU Skool vir Musiek en Konservatorium sien daarna uit om die publiek te verwelkom op Dinsdag 20 Februarie om 19:30 tydens die eerste konsert van die 2018-konsertreeks! Kaartjies beloop R90/R60 en sal aanlyn beskikbaar wees by Artéma (www.artema.co.za) of by NWU Potchefstroom Kunste, NWU Konservatorium en Protea boekwinkel. Kaartjies is ook by die loket beskikbaar tydens die aand van die konsert.

The Best of Potchpourri

The annual Potchpourri concert is a great opportunity for the residents of Potchefstroom to enjoy the talent of lecturers and students of the NWU School of Music & Conservatory in a concert of a more humoristic nature. This year will be no exception and includes Potchpourri highlights from over the past 20 years. The program includes a variety of exciting music items. Not only can the audience look forward to P.D.Q Bach’s Sonata for Viola: Four Hands, Bandura Express Marimba Ensemble, The Geographical Fugue which is a spoken fugue, but also to Ms Florence Foster Jenkins who will be making her first appearance on stage in Potchefstroom.

The NWU School of Music is looking forward to welcoming you on Tuesday 20 February at 19:30 at the Conservatory. Tickets cost R90/R60 and will be available online at Artéma (www.artema.co.za) as well as NWU PUK Arts, NWU Conservatory or Protea Bookshop. Tickets can also be purchased at the ticket office before the concert.
