This feel-good, easygoing romantic comedy has the beautiful landscapes of Rio de Janeiro as its background. It tells the story of Miss Simpson, a US citizen who teaches English to Brazilians. Among her students, there is Acacio, a funny football player who is planning to move to England, and Nadine, a computer nerd excited about a romance over the internet with a person claiming to be an artist in New York. In a casual meeting, Miss Simpson meets Pedro Paulo, a Brazilian lawyer who has just been dumped by his former wife for a Chinese teacher of Tai Chi Chuan. Enchanted by Miss Simpson, Pedro Paulo starts taking English classes in order to seduce her.
