Watch as Chantal – singer, songwriter and pianist – moves and entertains you with songs from her album ‘Scars’.  

Every song comes from a deeply personal place, and the creation of the album is about the scars we all have and share in one form or another, whether internal or external; physical or emotional that encompass our human condition.  The title song of Chantal’s new Album ‘Scars’ was written just after Knysna experienced horrific fires last year. There was a lot of media coverage around the fire and its devastation, but several weeks later the reporting slowed and the story eventually vanished, but the people affected had not and Chantal wondered what they were still going through. 

The song itself speaks to the scars we all carry. Some are shared, others are highly personal, but we all put on a smile and carry on because life goes on.
