DIARY OF AN ELEPHANT ORPHAN

Diary of an Elephant Orphan takes us through the struggles and turmoils of orphaned baby elephants, and the people who’ve made it their life’s mission to save them. Khanyisa, a baby elephant that was caught in a wire trap, is the newest addition to the elephant sanctuary. There, her thirst for survival is matched only by the passion of the people tasked at raising her. We see her at her best, and we cry with her caretakers at her worst. All of this effort is not in vain, as the ultimate goal - introducing her to a new herd - is always on the horizon, and something she clearly craves. For what orphan does not desire a family of their own?
