Event Description

Explore applied innovation

The GO FORTH and PROSPER POWWOW is an interactive event in the form of presentations, conversations and experiential exploration of applied innovation from a global perspective.

The main driver behind the event is a practical, implementable glimpse at answering the brain-busting question on the agenda of every organisation concerned with staying relevant, competitive and prosperous - How to start effective innovation?

Brexit, Donald Trump’s election and the Steinhoff debacle caught most of by complete surprise.  This fluid, challenging socio-economic context has seen certain brands and companies thrive, while others appear caught in the past, doing what they have always done and hoping for a positive outcome. High profile brands like Apple, are widely praised for their ongoing ability to “innovate”. But the reality of innovation is far more complex and nuanced than the media hype suggests. Every organisation, regardless of size or sector, must decide exactly how, when and why to innovate.

The GO FORTH and PROSPER POWWOW will offer significant development opportunities to organisations seeking to improve their ability to apply innovation to strategy, product development and customer relationships. The event will host a series of debates and interactions centring on the application of innovative thinking in your organisation.

This event is for you to move and be moved. To experience opportunities to speak, as well as be spoken to. To explore and challenge as much as you are challenged and given new things to explore.

Innovate. Everyone claims to. Few actually do. Ask yourself:

  • Do you really innovate?

  • Can your company convert social and economic uncertainty into strategic opportunity?

  • How and where do you start on innovation?

  • Why do some companies succeed and others fail on innovation?

  • How do you address innovation for the enterprise, business systems, products, services and customer-facing elements?

  • Do you want your workforce to be visionary, agile and innovative thinking machines?

What happens at the POWWOW doesn’t stay at the POWWOW:

The event brings some of the best minds in the world together to share experiences, practical applications, methodologies and ideas. It is a multi-layered conversation and sharing of experiences between world-leading innovative thinkers – with lots to take home.
