HALF-SISTER (Album Launch & Listening Party)

Half-Sister was formed in 2017, re-formed in 2018, and played a series of magical live shows between 2017-2021. Throughout that time, the songs which have become THE NEON BEWILDERMENT were written, jammed, modified, layered, and eventually meticulously recorded by the band themselves. All the tracks were mixed by Peach van Pletzen at Planet Awesome Studio. After seven wondrous years, the project of the album is finally complete, and will go live on all digital platforms on 26 July 2024.

To mark this occasion, Half-Sister invites you to join us for a listening party on the evening of Friday 26 July, 19:00 for 19:30, at the Bioscope Independent Cinema at 44 Stanley in Johannesburg. We will be listening to the full album, including two beautiful remixes by local electro musicians, and the +/- 90min audiovisual experience also includes snippets of footage taken from the studio sessions and BTS vibes at rehearsals and shows, plus a few other surprises.
