Heroes Fishing Competition 2024

On Saturday, April 27th, registration begins at 6:00 and continues until 15:00. Fishing commences in the evening at 16:00 and lasts until 10:00 the following day, April 28th. The competition includes three species, and the angler with the largest catch across these species will win the first prize of R10,000. Stands, rods, and reels are allowed for fishing, and the second prize goes to the angler with the heaviest total weight, excluding Yellowfish.

The third-place winner will be determined based on the most catfish caught, with a hamper prize valued at R2500. Participants can choose their favorite fishing brand from the options below:

4. SRA (Species Recognition Award)


5. Signature Series


6. Slammer Series

On the registration day, participants will receive either a dip, float, or sack bait. Throughout the day, various fishing experts from renowned brands like Super cast, Super Macpac, Twin Series, SRA, Signature Series, and Slammer Series will provide guidance on different techniques:
