ICON Comics and Games Convention 2025

ICON, South Africa’s longest-running gaming and comic book convention, returns for another unforgettable year — Friday, 10 October to Sunday, 12 October at Crawford International School, Lonehill, Sandton.

Whether you’re here to browse comics on sale, play board games, card games, tabletop wargames, roleplay the entire weekend, or track down that collectible you definitely don’t need (but absolutely want), this is the place to be.

Expect a weekend packed with passionate fans, friendly faces, and a marketplace full of everything from dice to detailed figurines. It’s the perfect excuse to get out, geek out, and connect with people who share your passion.

Show Floor Hours

• Friday, 10 October: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM


• Saturday, 11 October: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM


• Sunday, 12 October: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Age Restrictions

• Children 5 and under: Free admission (no ticket required)


• Children 6–12 years: Half-price day and weekend passes

Ticket Pickup

• Online sales will be emailed to you — scan your ticket upon arrival


• Tickets will also be available on-site during the event


• Note: After Saturday, 11 October, no Weekend Passes will be sold

Additional Information

• Companions for attendees requiring medical assistance must also purchase a ticket


• ICON CGC tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable


• Lost tickets will be reissued at full price
