Synopsis: 

This beautifully animated isekai (fantasy fiction) is based on the children’s book Chikashitsu kara no Fushigi na Tabi (Strange journey from the basement) by Sachiko Kashiwaba. The day before her birthday, Akane opens a door to a secret world. An enigmatic alchemist and his apprentice guide her through the fantastical place determined to see her fulfil the prophesy of restoring their kingdom.
