Mark Haze is one of South Africa’s greatest singer/songwriters.
Known for his wide vocal range, Mark’s signature sound, a combination of high energy Rock ‘n Roll, with the silkiness of Old-school Soul, mixed in with the raw emotion of the blues is guaranteed to have audiences on their feet. His influences range from Rock n’ Roll’s Hall of Fame like Queen, The Beatles, & Lenny Kravitz to Blues masters, Eric Clapton, & B.B. King, all the way through to today’s modern artists such as Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, FalloutBoy & Jack Garrat, to name a few . Haze has always been known to experiment sonically, merging the latest from today’s Pop/Electronic Culture with the historic timelessness and beauty of Rock, Soul and Blues.

Mark is a natural showman. Oozing on-stage charisma, he possesses the ability to command the largest of audiences, as well as connect personally with people when he performs at a more intimate venue – something not easily done when moving from large stages with a full band to a simpler acoustic setup where he is face to face with the audience. His powerful vocals, and soulful, skilled guitar playing, are a force to be reckoned with. Off stage, Mark certainly shows appreciation for his fans, always taking the time to meet them at every show.

Mark Haze is a full-time touring musician, and continuously tours the country and continent. He has also toured Namibia, Mauritius, and Malawi, where he headlined the famous ‘Moon Rock Festival’ in 2012. Mark has also performed in New York City, at the famous Underground and B.B. King’s nightclub.
