MUSIC EDUCATION WORKSHOP
Presenters: Dr Dorette Vermeulen and Dr Sonja Cruywagen
Making music matter in the CAPS curriculum
Learners extend their understanding of music when they are actively involved in musical experiences. The workshop will include ideas for music learning experiences in all four phases of the CAPS curriculum.
1. Music as part of Life Skills in the Foundation phase: Grades R-3 | 08:30-09:20 |
2. Music as part of Life Skills in the Intermediate phase: Grades 4-6 | 09:20-10:10 |
