This creative experiential seminar will broaden your understanding of the role that music can play at your school. Through music-centered techniques and relevant theoretical insights you will learn:
 

• How music can function as a communicative tool (e.g. how can music open up communicative pathways when there are barriers or conflict?)


• The importance not only of music products but also musical processes (e.g. what else could this choir be affording learners in addition to their musical development?)


• How music can function as a structuring tool (e.g. what do I do with this chaotic class?)
