Music & Wine with CRAIG HINDS from Watershed

As a celebration of making and playing music for 26 years - Graig Hinds from Watershed would like to invite loyal friends and fans to enjoy a brand new offering.  A large number of performances are played each year at wine farms in the Cape and we were inspired to do a collaboration of two arts : music and wine making.  Together with our friend, Danie Steytler Jr from the iconic Kaapzicht Wine Farm, we have worked on creating wines that represent the style, quality and durability of our music.  

We are delighted to present  “Letters” – a Chenin blanc which is partially Old Vine Chenin that brings intensity and complexity to the final product. Beautifully crisp and invigorating with each sip.  The song ‘Letters' is a song about love and the written notes between two people.

We also present “Indigo Girl” a deliciously crafted Bordeaux blend of Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.This rich red has notes of ruby berries with a hint of spice and pairs well with food or simply to enjoy on its own.

We see no end in sight for the band and the music and hope that this new collaboration will continue to add a new dimension to our artistic presentation.

Craig Hinds - A singer-songwriter and the lead singer of the band Watershed, that topped charts in South Africa and abroad.

In 1998, Hinds formed Watershed with a group of friends, and the band's debut album "In the Meantime" was released in 2000. The album was a massive success in South Africa, and its lead single "Indigo Girl" became an instant hit.

Since then, Watershed has released several albums and singles that have topped the charts in South Africa and earned them a loyal fan base. Hinds' soulful vocals and introspective lyrics have been praised by critics and fans alike, and he has been recognized as one of the most talented musicians in South Africa.

In addition to his work with Watershed, Hinds has also released solo material and collaborated with other artists. He is known for his passionate performances and his ability to connect with audiences on a deep emotional level. Hinds has become an icon in the South African music industry, and his music continues to inspire and uplift listeners around the world.
