National Male Choir Festival

The George Male Choir is proud to present the 2024 edition of the National Male Choir Festival that originated in 2015 through an initiative from the Bloemfontein Mannekoor.

The event in George will be the 9th edition, and will include seven choirs in total, namely the George Male Choir, Bloemfontein Mannekoor, Take Note, Cenestra Male Choir, Arbitrio, Remnant Men’s Chorale and the Travelling Voices from North Rhine – Westphalia in Germany, making this a truly international event.

A Mass choir with all choirs on stage will end of a memorable evening in the celebration of the human voice, a festival of male voice choirs of all ages.

Refreshments will be available with safe parking on the premises. Provision is made for people with disabilities to easily access the venue at one of George’s prestige schools, namely Glenwood House School.
