Nature is Art: Forest Mandala Land Art Workshop with Clarens Stargazing Tours

- Details

A slow, grounding creative journey in nature. Participants wander through the forest collecting natural materials — leaves, twigs, stones — to co-create ephemeral mandalas. These earth artworks celebrate impermanence, pattern, and the artistry inherent in all living things. This is land art in its purest form — where nature becomes both canvas and collaborator. Each mandala expresses the moment’s unique harmony, reminding us that art exists everywhere when we slow down enough to see it.
Street parking available close by.
Please note, no picking of live materials. We leave our art behind to wither away with the cycles of nature. Leaving only a trace of art, our hearts in kinship with nature, whilst carrying a moment of co-reaction, reciprocity & harmony of expression.
Participant to bring a bag or holder for collecting of items, water, sun hat, comfortable walking shoes.
Please meet at the Conservancy Gate on the corner of Main and Hill Street, near the dam.
