Outdoor Cinema: The Big Lebowski White Russian Party

Ahead of the December Classic Movie Club screenings of The Big Lebowski, enjoy this cult classic in our new outdoor cinema this November. Dressing up in your bathrobe is encouraged. Enjoy White Russians at our bar all night long! The best dressed person on each of the two nights will win a free bowling game for them and a partner at Northcliff Bowling!

In this 1998 Coen Brothers classic, "The Dude" Lebowski, mistaken for a millionaire Lebowski, seeks restitution for his ruined rug and enlists his bowling buddies to help get it.

After years of successful outdoor cinema screenings across the city, The Bioscope Outdoor Cinema has found a new home on the rooftop of Main Street Life, the same building that houses The Bioscope here in Maboneng. With this new base camp, we are excited to host more regular outdoor cinema screenings, something we know you guys have always wanted!  

These screenings will usually take place on a Tuesday evening, and will be announced across all Bioscope social media with dates listed on the Bioscope website. On arrival, meet us at The Bioscope itself, and you will be ushered up to the rooftop venue by Bioscope staff. The screenings will start promptly at 8pm, with access to the venue from 6pm. Your R120 ticket will include bottomless popcorn, and there will be a cash bar set up on the roof, as well as the chance to bring other Bioscope concession up from downstairs. Please bring comfy pillows you can sit on, as well as blankets in case of any chill.
