It is time for our annual Picnic on the Lawn at Bodemloos Kombuis, set in the heart of beautiful Elgin. Gates open at 1pm, with the music starting at 2:30pm.

The afternoon kicks off with 15-year-old sensation Jeanie, followed by the fantastic solo performer from Cape Town, Wren Hinds. Next on stage is Dani Villé, an exceptional singer-songwriter from Vyeboom, bringing heartfelt songs and powerful storytelling.

What many have been waiting for is the special GroenBlohm performance, where Jan Blohm and Gian Groen share the stage for an unforgettable musical collaboration.

Taking us through to 9pm is Die Vyftigers, featuring Neil Sandilands, Abel Kraamsaal, Schalk Joubert, and Gian Groen — all born in 1975. This unique show will take audiences on a rich journey down memory lane, combining music, stories, and multimedia to reflect on what has happened in our country over the past 50 years.

Festival-goers are strongly encouraged to dress according to the theme and help bring the spirit of the year to life.

After the outdoor show, the party moves into the restaurant where legendary rock band Akkedis will keep things rocking late into the night. Core members Rudi and Arthur Dennis will also be celebrating their birthdays on the day, making it an extra special celebration.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket, or enjoy our wood-fired pizzas and fully stocked bar.
