Proe’Toria | Taste’Toria 2021

A feast for the senses in Pretoria at Proe’toria / Taste’Toria on 24-25 September 2021!


What do you get when you combine the best music, tastiest food, delicious wine and the most enjoyable children’s entertainment at one of the most popular venues in Pretoria? An unforgettable outdoor festival, which is not only a feast for the senses but will also bring young and old together for the event of the year!


PROE’TORIA / TASTE’TORIA, the fith of its kind in Pretoria, will be held on 24-25 September 2021 at the Monte De Dios Dome!


Festivalgoers can look forward to being entertained by artists, pop up music activations, food demonstrations and many more.


In addition to good music, the festival also boasts more than 80 outdoor food, wine, art and craft beer stalls, from suppliers, exhibitors and wine farms across the country. Children will be able to enjoy themselves with an exciting play area and other fun activities to ensure that nobody feels left out on the day.

Gates will open at 09:00 on the day and the show will continue up until 19:00. Tickets cost R150 and are available online at TIXSA.


Note tickets will be R180.00 onsite.

Cashless King's event card is a LifeTime card that can be reused at all their events (so keep it for the next event). Karen Zoid

Karen Zoid (born Karen Louise Greeff on 10 August 1978) is a South African rock singer, guitarist, and songwriter. Her work in both English and Afrikaans has gathered critical acclaim, and she has been dubbed South Africa's "Queen of Rock" by several major local publications. Her followers and, more generally, the South African youth have also been referred to as the "Zoid Generation" by the press. Zoid's current band members are Henry Steel Jnr (guitar), Schalk van der Merwe (bass guitar) and Tim Rankin (drums). The singer is also known for hosting the kykNet television series Republiek van Zoid Afrika and is one of the judges on The Voice SA as well.

Die Heuwels Fantasties

Die Heuwels Fantasties (English: The Hills Fantastic) is an Afrikaans electronic band from Bellville, South Africa. Die Heuwels Fantasties is composed of Hunter Kennedy (also member of Fokofpolisiekar & formerly of aKING), Pierre Greeff (also member of Lukraaketaar), Fred den Hartog (also member of Thieve) and Sheldon Yoko (also a member of Die Gevaar) Their self-titled debut album contains contributions by Francois Van Coke (Fokofpolisiekar and Van Coke Kartel), Laudo Liebenberg (aKING), Adriaan Brand (Springbok Nude Girls), Neil Basson (Foto na Dans) and Jack Parow. The album was released on 19 March 2009 and is the third release by Hunter and Pierre's music label, Supra Familias. Even before the album's launch, Die Heuwels Fantasties released two singles as free downloads on Last.fm which attracted thousands of listeners. These tracks reached number one on various campus radio stations and the first music video, Vinger Alleen, spent three weeks at number one on Afrikaans television music channel, MK.

Janie Bay

Janie Bay is a SAMA nominated singersongwriter from Cape Town, South Africa, currently living in Pretoria.

Since 2011, Janie has performed at Oppikoppi, KKNK, Up The Creek, White Mountain Festival to name a few and have performed and worked with the likes of Prime Circle, Jack Parow, Matthew Mole, Hunter Kennedy, Majozi and many more.

In October 2016, she joined Warner Music South Africa. In September 2017, Bay released her sophomore album 'Miscellany' which received a South African Music Awards Nomination on Thurday 19 April 2018 and which have also sported a few #1 hit songs on local radio which includes a collaboration with Hunter Kennedy (Fokofpolisiekar, Die Heuwels Fantasties).

Janie Bay is surely steadfast becoming a household name within the Pop-Singersongwriter arena. 'Miscellany' is available on online streaming platforms.
