REQUIEM: MUSIC ON LOSS AND HEALING

On the 27th of October 2023 the Vox Chamber Choir and composer and conductor, Franco Prinsloo, will present "Requiem: Music on Loss and Healing" at the Nazareth House Chapel in Pretoria. 

All of the featured works were composed by award winning composer, Franco Prinsloo over the span of the last decade (2013 - 2023) in response to the passing of a close family member or friend. The music was inspired by deeply felt personal loss and mourning, and through the process of composition, these works were transfigured into tools of healing. The music aims to take the listener on an introspective journey through the various stages of mourning and loss to facilitate healing and bring comfort.
