Thirteen years after the iconic romantic comedy Semi-Soet (2012) won the hearts of viewers, theatre audiences experienced the story anew as a musical at AfriForum Theatre in 2025. Following strong public demand, the production is now being scaled up for a larger audience.

The story follows a self-confessed workaholic who tries to save her advertising company from ruin with a wild, hurry-scurry plan – which leads to romantic complications and hilarious moments.
