Doing the Business of Fashion for a Sustainable Future
A panel discussion with Zydia Botes co-founder of Romaria, Wanda Lephoto founder Wanda Lephoto, Nicola Luther owner of Lunar facilitated by Jackie May , founder of Twyg Magazine.
In this discussion with fashion designers and business owners, we’ll hear about the challenges, dreams, hopes and offer practical insight about what does and could support the fashion system we need for a sustainable future. It is not yet mainstream to apply sustainability principles and ethical labour practices in business. But as awareness about the climate crisis grow, this reality is slowly changing. Still, until everyone is caring for people and the planet, building a sustainable business in slow fashion requires enormous creativity, innovation, grit and passion.
