Event Description


The Soweto Rock Festival is making history in Soweto, marking an event where rock is being embraced on this magnitude at ‘The Home of Legends’ - the township of Soweto. Primed to be a festive celebration of township rock, a strong showing of emerging rock icons and South Africa’s great rock exports. Swimming against the tide, going against the grain, pushing against the convention of all the mainstream sonic offerings out there, Soweto Rock strides in a lane of its own, with a flock of devoted fans following in step; revving to get their rock on! 


No weapons allowed, Food and Drinks are available at the venue. 


Parking available with guards. 


Adventure rides availabe at the Soweto Towers, indulge in  adrenalin enducing activities including Bungee Jumping, 700m Zip Line, Paing ball and Free falling.
