Weaving Shibusa, a documentary that explores the history and craftsmanship of Japanese denim making. This documentary will bring to light how the Osaka 5 made denim speak, speaking through aesthetics, through nostalgia and construction.

Devin Leisher, director and producer of Weaving Shibusa, lights up and illuminates the story of Japanese craftsmanship and the mystery surrounding the denim producing prowess of the Japanese. Devin takes us on a trip through Japan in this film, shot entirely in Japanese. One can imagine the language barriers and challenges experienced in the process.
