Step It Up 2025 – Amphi theatre

We look forward to hosting you at the University of Pretoria.
(You will have to present at the University Entrance in order to enter the campus.)

Step It Up is a singing and dancing competition that gives students the opportunity to step up their game and showcase their talents and passion for music and dance. It is a sing-and-dance competition with occasional dialogue and promotes diversity and multiculturalism in theme and music.

Unlike 1nsync, participation is open to all students of Residences, Day Houses, Faculty Houses, and Societies at the university. Structures compete against each other, and at the end of the night, the best performance in each category will be crowned champion.

Important Information:

• No tickets will be sold at the door.


• Food vendors and a café will be available at the venue.


• Parking is allowed at Hatfield Campus, with signs and security guards directing all ticket holders to the designated parking facility.


• General parking is not free.
