Improguise presents: The 10th Annual Improv fest.

ImproGuise, Cape Town’s oldest and most favourite improv troupe, have been entertaining audiences with their live, totally improvised shows since 1994, and each year they love an opportunity to show off what they can do. The cast is reuniting (some have even moved away) and they have invited some special guests to join them as they celebrate a decade of Improv fest with a series of unique and hilarious live performances. 

Each night will be totally different, and ImproGuise have chosen three of their audience's most loved formats to honour improv and their most loved fans. Here is what you can expect. 

3 March– Game on!  - Based on the hugely popular short form improv, Theatresports, this is a super charged and fun improv show with an emcee, judges from the audience and 2 teams, who will compete in a series of short and outrageous improv games based on suggestions from the audience. Yes, this is the one you always ask for.

4 March - Stuck in the middle- This wild Rollercoaster ride of a show sees 1 highly skilled improviser stuck on stage for an hour while the other players free flow between games and scenes - running circles around the chosen improviser, and really putting their improv skills to the test. 

5 March - Fake Place - This delightful longform improv format sees the highly skilled improvisers exploring a fictional place and playing all the loveable and eccentric characters in it. Heart-warming and gut-wrenchingly funny.
