The Bioscope Camera Club: FAUSTO BECATTI

The Bioscope and The College of Digital Photography proudly present a new monthly series of photography talks at The Bioscope.

With a focus on showcasing up-and-coming photographers, The Bioscope Camera Club is intended to be an intimate and open discussion around a set of photographs displayed on the big screen. The aim is to have the discussions touch on both the technical aspects of the work, as well as the story and experience behind it. We expect the talk to be roughly an hour long.

This month is cinematographer Fausto Becatti. Fausto is a director who lives for filmmaking, photography, music, travel and adventure. Over the years that he has been directing, a distinct aesthetic has emerged in his work. That style has grown and evolved hand in hand with his photography style & has seen him build up a formidable portfolio of stills, exhibited and sold as well as being showcased online. His talk will delve into his personal path with photography and showcase the journey to finding one’s own style.
