Workshop for Primary School Conductors

Session 1: Friday 10 June 17:00-20:00

Session 2: Saturday 11 June 09:00 - 13:00

This workshop will focus on:

• Taking your choir to the next level with minimum effort


• Narrative sound shapes - how to get an award winning sound


• Practical imaginative creativity for interpreting the music


• Solving internal and external intonation problems


• Dissecting the score

In general:

• You will obtain knowledge of conducting, notavailable in books


• Your conducting imagination will be expanded and reshaped


• You will leave inspired to start conducting with a new mindset


• You will take away relevant and foolproof tips

Note:

• This workshop is for PRIMARY SCHOOL CONDUCTORS ONLY


• Workshop will be at Pierneef's Kraal, Lynnwood Manor, Pretoria


• All the needed workshop material will be supplied


• The sessions will be in Afrikaans and English


• Coffee and tea will be included


• Price for the 7-hour workshop is R1200 per conductor
