The Andre Trilogy

This September, The Long Take Film Club turns to a filmmaker who treats interview, detective story and documentary as raw material to take apart and reassemble. James N. Kienitz Wilkins's The Andre Trilogy — three short films (Special Features, TESTER, B-Roll with Andre) — uses language, performance and unreliable narration to unsettle the forms we take for granted. Our curators and the community of cinéastes who gather each month will help shape sense out of these stories together.

Expect something playful, sharp and a little disorientating, followed by discussion in the cinema, then social in the courtyard with pizza and beers.
