Tixsa Tours are launching our “Adventure Life Motorbike Tour Series.”  

“The Adventure Life Motorbike Tour Series” kicks off with "The Tapestry of Dreams: Adventure Motorbike Tour" to Sabaan Guest Farm and Venue. With its majestic routes woven like a tapestry, surrounding this tranquil gem in the heart of the Lowveld, you do not have to look further for your next motorbiking adventure. Time to start hunting down your dreams -  “Experience the true adventure of being alive!”

This area of Mpumalanga offers some of the best roads in the world for motorcycles, and it’s our mission to attract bikers of all backgrounds, clubs, motorcycles, and a desire to travel new roads on the “Tapestry of Dreams: Adventure Motorbike Tour.”

The day's riding is very casual, low stress and we spend the late afternoons and evenings letting loose at our base location. When we get back from the day of riding, experience our beautiful sub-tropical Lowveld paradise at Sabaan, whilst we prepare your dinner feast. You are in charge. This experience is all about you and for you to make the most of it. 

You will feel right at home. Our friendly staff and experienced catering team will make sure you get the full experience of "riding like fools and eating like kings." Sabaan ensures that you won't have to ride into town for dinner or bring supplies for self catering. We've got you covered. Lunch and snacks each day will be on your own dime. Cash Bar Available. 

Sabaan hosts a wonderful pool, wide open spaces for some touch rugby or cricket, and a river for you to go and enjoy when you want. The Sabaan Guest Farm and Venue is yours for the weekend.

In our opinion, this area of Mpumalanga offers some of the best tar roads in the country. Sabaan is centrally located to some amazing loops that we have come to know very well. You will ride through a tapestry of wide-open bushveld and big sky country. Superb scenic landscapes and fascinating mountain roads will give you a lifetime of memories. And after a day's riding you can put the bike keys down and enjoy your evening in the dusk sanctuary of Sabaan.

Road Surface:

(Predominantly tar)  

A few hidden locations such as waterfalls, caves and lookout points, are suitable for all bikes. There's lots of forest roads to explore via dirt as well, if you wish to take a different route than the tar route laid out for the day. Different routes for different bikers.

We have arranged a professional outride with a Professional Rider and Operator who knows the area, and who will guide you on our scheduled day rides and hidden gems along the routes. 

Biker Skill Level Recommendation:  

Beginner:  

• can ride for two to three hours


• minimal riding experience


• assistance required


• comfortable with curves and leans


• basic experience with unsurfaced roads


• short distance ascents and descents

Intermediate:

• can ride for three to four hours


• average riding experience


• little assistance required


• comfortable with extreme curves and leans


• average experience with unsurfaced roads

Each Biker needs to register and then choose an accommodation option that suits his/her group.
If your group includes a non-biker/s then choose the Biker Weekend Registration for yourself and add the correct amount of non/bikers by selecting the Non-Biker Weekend price level and then choose your accommodation option for your group.

You have to choose your accommodation option in the same transaction.

Non-Biker Weekend Registration (R1,450.00)

For partners, family members, spouses, or non-bikers.
You have to choose your accommodation option in the same transaction.

Requirements:

Minimum age requirement is 23 years old unless circumstances are discussed and agreed to by the management in writing. The riders must have a valid motorcycle license. 

Accommodation: - Available Options: (Breakfast and Dinner Included in all options) 

Option A:  The Lone Ranger - there is only one unit like this (2A) 

This unit is open plan with a comfy double bed. Lovely little bathroom with a shower in bath. If you want your privacy, then this is the unit for you.   

Option B: Privacy and space (packs 4) (7 units of this) Units 16-22 

These are spacious units generally catering for families of 8 – but motor bike guys like you need space, so we are only putting 4 of you in here, enough space for all the gear.  The unit has two separate bedrooms each with a double and single bed, and the lounge area with 2 single beds. Delightful fully equipped kitchen and bathroom.  

Option C: Rooms with a view (packs 3) - (8 units) Units 3,4,5,6,12, 13,14,15 

This is a spacious unit that generally accommodate families of 6 with picturesque views of the valley from its veranda.  One bedroom with a double bed and 3 single beds in the living area. There is a single bathroom with a shower over the bath, an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen.

Option D:  We’re on a budget (packs 3) - (3 units) Units 7,8,9

These units are enjoyable and comfortable, spacious and generally accommodates families of six.  One bedroom with a double + 2 single beds in the living area. There is a single bathroom with a shower over the bath, an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen.

Option E: The naughty Four (packs 4) - (2 Units) Units 10,11 

Spacious units that cater for families of 8.  One bedroom unit with a double bed PLUS 3single beds in the spacious open-plan living area. There is a single bathroom with a shower over the bath, an open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen.

Option F: Glamping your way

Self-camping - Own camping and bedding. Please bring your own towels, dishcloths, and cleaning products. Cleaning services not included. 

Bookings:

Book your trip online or contact us to assist with manual EFT bookings. We will accept deposits via manual EFT transfers, if you want to follow this option. Deadline for full payment will be 1 May 2021.
