UDUMO: KwaZulu-Natal 2023

UDUMO is an enriching revolutionary new concept of choral collaboration that uses experiential learning to mentor, network, share, grow and develop conductors and singers to ultimately perform together in mass choirs in a spectacular gala concert!

The KWAZULU-NATAL UDUMO has 4 mass choirs made up of 250 singers each: a primary school, two high schools and one adult choir performing with world class expert conductors. These choirs are then combined to showcase a mass choir of 1000 singers performing carefully selected pieces to showcase our diversity and celebrate choral music that is such an integral part of our DNA as South Africans.
