Northern Lights offers a musical odyssey that spans Finland's serene and solemn landscapes to the spirited and sunlit vistas of France. The University of Pretoria Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to present an afternoon filled with dramatic contrasts, emotional depth, and radiant joy. Join us to celebrate the transformative power of music, from the reflective to the celebratory, under the baton of our distinguished conductor, Schalk van der Merwe.

With a selection of pieces by Jean Sibelius and Georges Bizet, our afternoon will guide you from the solemnity of the north to the vibrancy of the Mediterranean. Some of our highlights:
