Vox Chamber Choir & Vivox Voices

Vox Chamber Choir and Vivox Voices joins in a unique choral performance at the NG Kerk Moedergemeente, Durbanville on the 2nd of July 2022, at 19:00. 

South African composer, Franco Prinsloo will present new compositions with his renowned choral instrument, Vox Chamber Choir, from Pretoria. Vox Chamber Choir recently made headlines with their critically acclaimed world premiere of Franco Prinsloo's easter oratorio, Kruis van Liefde. The work was broadcast on RSG radio as well as KykNet in 2021. 

In this exciting concert, two choirs will join forces in a chilling performance of Franco Prinsloo's mass, "Missa Brevis: San Marco", composed for first performance at the St. Marks Basilica in Venice, Italy.

Vivox voices, founded by conductor, Maria Rademan-Viviers will debut Creator God that was specially composed by American Composer, Jonny Priano, for the choir for the 11th World Choir Games in Belgium. Audiences can also look forward to their rendition of Breyten Breytenbach’s poem, (soos van vlerke) composed by Vox Chamber Choir’s Franco Prinsloo.
