WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH THE GARDEN? MET Penny Wolhuter

This new interdisciplinary production choreographed by Penny Wolhuter, with videography by Emmy-award winner, Kim Wolhuter and directed by the award -winning, Ignatius van Heerden, focuses on how humans are inextricably linked to nature, and how we lose our souls when we move away from it or try to deny our wild side.

The work draws inspiration from Penny Wolhuter’s personal life and explores parallel themes from The Lord of the Flies by William Golding, asking questions about reconnecting with nature and how to evolve without forgetting our true beginnings.

This new work is a fusion of dance, text and AV telling the story of what happens when we disconnect from nature and place ourselves above it.
