Where the Clouds Gather Solo Exhibition by Kristi Marié

Where the Clouds Gather – ǁHui !Gaeb
Solo Exhibition by Kristi Marié

Join us at De Galerij on Thursday, 12 November 2026, for the opening of Where the Clouds Gather – ǁHui !Gaeb, a solo exhibition by Cape Town-based artist Kristi Marié.

Through atmospheric landscapes, layered textures and softened forms, Kristi Marié explores the relationship between land, memory and the histories held within a place. Inspired by archival photographs of the Cape and the landscapes that existed before the modern city, her work invites us to pause, look beyond the familiar and reflect on the stories embedded in the ground beneath our feet.

The evening offers an opportunity to experience the exhibition, gain insight into the artist’s creative process and join an intimate gallery walkabout accompanied by the artist herself.
