Elaine has been teaching creative textile classes since 1999 in South Africa and internationally. A true artist, she is always stretching her creative abilities and challenging herself to create unique classes. Her quilts have been featured in publications internationally and awarded multiple prizes locally and internationally. In 2022 Elaine was inducted into the South African Quilters’ Hall of Fame.

DETAILED COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Most of us are lucky enough to have inherited a tin full of buttons BUT what to do with them? Come and join a class using buttons in an innovative way and walk away with a beautiful needle case and a bowl full of buttons.

A small bag full of buttons
4 X 10cm green felt
20 X 30cm fabric for the needle case
20 X 30cm fabric for the lining of the needle case
2 pieces of 12 X 22cm white felt
Fabric for the tablecloth
Felt for the flower bowl
For use in the classroom: sewing needle, embroidery thread, scissors, black cotton
