M45 How Marline Designs her Appliqué Quilts Monday 8th July 15h30 – 16h30

Marline is a passionate quilter and has been quilting and teaching quilt-making for many years. She 
has taught widely in South Africa as well as internationally. Marline is a SAQG qualified quilt judge 
and enjoys every aspect of quilt-making.

Marline will show you how she goes about designing her appliqué quilts in small easily workable 
sections. These sections are then assembled into a full-scale double or king size quilt. She will show 
you how easy it is to design a border for the quilt.
