Annie was previously a sewing teacher. Her quilting career began in 2006. After her son passed away
in 2005, she started making ragdolls and quilts. Some of her friends saw her work and wanted her to
teach them too. She completed the SAQG Quilt Teachers Accreditation Course in 2014. Annie
teaches regularly. Her favourite technique is traditional patchwork and paper foundation piecing.
She enjoys making miniature quilts and rag dolls.
DETAILED COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is a fun class learning how to make your own rag doll. The student will be taken step by step
through the making and assembly of the doll. There will be kits for the doll’s clothes to buy at Liefie
Love.

Clear glue
Scissors to cut cardboard and fabric scissors
HB pencil and sharpener
Sewing machine in good working order

Universal 80/12 needles
Skin-colour thread and bobbin with the same thread
Wooden spoon
Hand sewing needle and long doll needle
Brown Pigma pen
Basic sewing supplies
