Tracy started when she was a little girl. After many years of making clothes and dance costumes, she
attended a quilt class and finally found her passion. She believes in attending as many different
classes as possible as no learning is ever wasted. She takes great pleasure in creating, learning
experiences that excite, inspire, challenge and leave students eager for more.
DETAILED COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Translate your thoughts, experiences and words into stitches. Slow down time whilst reflecting on
your day and recording it in stitch. Be inspired by the beauty created on cloth whilst you experiment
with various stitch techniques in a safe environment.
Student Requirements:
A fat quarter of plain, good quality, light-coloured fabric, 100% cotton or linen
Marking tool – a good quality HB pencil and sharpener or chalk pencil in a colour that will show up
on your chosen fabric
Stranded embroidery floss in various colours
Embroidery needles – a pack of Size 5/10, however, a Size 8 is a good all rounder
Small, sharp scissors
Basic sewing supplies
Small embroidery hoop (optional)
