Corey is a Canadian quilter, teacher, designer and creator. Needing an outlet for his creativity
following a career in music, Corey found quilting and fibre art in 2014. Quilting and teaching are his
passions!

 

DETAILED COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Corey is a Sew Kind of Wonderful certified instructor, and he will show you all the tips and tricks
when using the Quilt Curve Ruler as you work on your blocks. Corey will guide you through the easy
and effective construction method and by the end of this fun and productive workshop, you will
have enough blocks to complete a table runner or be well on your way to a completed quilt top.
Following this class, you will have the skills to create more than 40 patterns!

Students will receive an email outlining your fabric requirements for various sizes upon Registration.

Student Requirements:
Metro Rings Pattern and Rulers Kit
Rotary cutter with a NEW blade
Mat as large as possible
Ruler 6”x24”, 10”x10” square or larger
Piecing thread to match your fabric (50wt)
Machine piecing needles – best suited for your fabric choice: Topstitch, Microtex
Scissors seam ripper, paper, pen,
Sewing machine - be prepared to sew with a 1/4” foot
Bobbins
Machine manual
Small iron and mat for your personal sewing area
Extension cord
