Tracy Perks is a Quilt Pattern Designer, of large pictorial style quilts. She also has a passion for
creating free motion embroidery and shabby chic textile art. Tracy has a large number of quilt
patterns designed that are great for the visual learner, with more to come. She quilts and sews in her
very own floating studio, which is a small creative space on a 26 foot narrowboat, called The Little
Boat.

You will be shown how to free motion embroider with your sewing machine. We will start by
getting your sewing machine ready, prep your fabric, and have a practice session before we dive
into the mushroom designs. You will enjoy this interactive workshop and once you have learnt the
basics, there will be no stopping you.
Student Requirements:
100% Cotton fabric 4 pieces of 8 x 8 inches
Stitch and Tear Stabiliser
6 inch hoop
Black thread , same thread for bobbin.
Small Scissors
Fabric Glue/ Pritt
Pilot Frixion erasable or water-soluble pen
Lightbox or window.
