Did you know that in this fun class, you can create a realistic land- or seascape by using mostly threads and yarn.

You will also learn her method of finishing off a textile artwork so that there are no unsightly stitches showing when your artwork is mounted on a stretched canvas
You will use some of your fabric- and yarn scraps to create a sense of sustainable art and by the end of the class, you will have a completed artwork, ready to hang on your wall!

THREADS and YARN:
-Look at your photo and choose yarn that is similar in colour to what is on the photograph.
-Don’t go for yarn that is too thick as you are going to have to sew over it but if you have different textures, which will be wonderful!
-Bring a variety of yarn in every colour that you see in the photo. Wool, crochet cotton, bamboo threads, anything that you never know what to do with…. bring. Maybe it works beautifully in this little gem! A bit of bling in some of your threads will bring interest.
-Try to match your machine embroidery threads to that.
-Remember, variety is the spice of life! Bring more threads rather than less.
